GDS Associates, Inc. has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Residential Energy Efficiency Specialist/HERS Rater in the Energy Efficiency Department located in Manchester. This position assists in the continued delivery of Residential New Construction Energy Efficiency Programs (e.g. ENERGY STAR® Homes) and the provision of related services to our existing clients. Qualified candidates would be certified HERS raters, and have a solid understanding of home building and construction practices, an interest in energy efficient residential construction, the ability to read construction drawings and specifications and excellent communications skills in dealing with home contractors and/or builders. The primary responsibility of a Residential Energy Efficiency Specialist is to perform home energy rating (HERS) services for various clienteles in charge of constructing single- and multi-family housing.
