ReVireo is an energy efficiencyand green building services company. We provide a range of consulting and inspection services to builders and developers on residential new construction projects. We are currently looking to fill the position of a full-time Building Analystimmediately.
Position Description and Responsibilities
This position is a hands-on,field-based rolein whichthe employeewill conduct on-site inspections and tests to assess the energy efficiency of new homes.Inspections include quantitative data collection, such as measuring HVAC duct leakage and whole-house envelope leakage, as well as qualitative data collection, such as identifying construction materialsand taking photos of the home. After a training and certification period of approximately 2-3monthsto obtain a RESNET Rating Field Inspector certification, the employeewill be assigned inspections daily. The employeewill travel to the assigned construction sites, conduct the inspections and/or tests, record results, and communicate issues, recommendations, and results with the construction manager.
The employee will learn and utilize construction techniques, building science, energy efficiency terminology, construction timelines, and communication with clients. The employeewill become familiar with the inspection equipment and testing procedures, including preparing units for inspection,and diagnosing test-related issues. ReVireo will provide all inspection equipment and materials. The employeewill operate his or her own personal vehicle for transportation, for which the employee will be fully reimbursed.
Location
We are seekingapplicants who canwork in and travel to allthe following locations:

NJ: All central and southern counties (Mercer/Monmouth and below)

PA: Eastern counties and the Philly area (mainlyBucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Lehigh)
The employeemay occasionally perform work in other nearby counties/locationsto those above. The employeewill also occasionally need to travel to ReVireo’s headquarters(currently located in Union County, NJ), for training, meetings, andother events/needs.
The ideal candidate resides either inthe western partof Gloucester, Camden, or Burlington counties in NJ orthe easternpartof Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware,or Philadelphia counties in PA.
Position Requirements

Is available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, Monday –Friday (we are closed on the weekends)

Has his or her own vehicle, driver’s license, and carinsurance

Is willing to use his or her own vehicle to travel daily for work (compensated at IRS standard mileage rate)

Is willing to drive long distances (occasionally a site may be 1.5hrs.+ away)

Is willing to transportReVireo’s inspection equipmentto inspections

Is comfortable with using atablet, Microsoft Office, a cell phone, and basicdata entry

Canlift and carry at least 40 pounds•Is comfortable on a ladder

Is comfortable standingor walkingfor extended periods of time

Works well independentlyand managestime efficiently

Enjoys meeting new people and developing relationships with clients on site.
Qualifications

Anassociate degreeor equivalentis preferred.

Experience is preferred (but not required) in the following areas:

Construction or HVAC

Reading construction plans/drawings

Building Performance Institute

This position requiresa Rating Field Inspector (RFI) certification. If the applicant does not already possess this certification, ReVireo will provide all training and resources for the applicant to obtain the RFI certification at no cost to the applicant. The RFI certification is earned by completing the examination and competency requirements set bythe Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET). The training period is approximately 2-4 months.

Low to Mid $50,000s (position level & salary commensurate with education & experience)
