New Hampshire Programs


NHSaves is a state-wide collaboration of New Hampshire's electric and natural gas utilities, including Eversource, Liberty Utilities, New Hampshire Electric Co-op and Unitil. This collaboration covers all of the state, but a few municipal areas do not participate. They work with the NH Public Utilities Commission to provide NH customers with information, programs and support designed to reduce energy use, save money and protect our environment.

New Construction

The NH ENERGY STAR Homes Program encourages electric and gas customers to take advantage of the benefits of building a new single or multi-family energy efficient home with incentives to help offset the incremental costs. Learn more online.

Energy Star Homes (New Construction) offers rebates for:

  • Single Family: up to $4000 cap based on HERS Score 
  • Multi-Family or High Rise: $1000 for meeting HERS Index, plus $100 per point below

Additionally Utilities Pay Rater Fees for:

  • Plans Review
  • Midpoint Inspection
  • Final Inspection and Certification
  • LED Bulbs Installed

NH Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, a program sponsored by your local utility, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy, offers a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort at home, while helping to protect the environment. Learn more online.
