At NEHERS, we approach Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the perspective that it is in everyone’s best interest to broaden the reach of the HERS Industry. This means increasing representation within the workforce so that we can help all communities access energy-efficiency services.

Our Mentorship Program endeavors to engage with candidates, regardless of background or prior work experience, to identify and resolve potential barriers to access and to elicit and encourage the full expression of each candidate’s unique talents and gifts.

Fostering a diverse workforce is not just about providing equitable training but also creating a supportive team-oriented learning environment. We aim to ensure that all individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute effectively and meaningfully to the HERS industry in the Northeast, and hopefully well beyond!
